Severe calcific aortic stenosis with repeated heart failure hospital admissions carries a high mortality and morbidity in the elderly. Despite a calculated high risk of periprocedural complications, Sri Lanka's first transcatheter heart valve replacement in an over 90-year-old patient in such a clinical condition could be performed with no major in-hospital adverse cardiac or cerebral events. Improved quality of life with freedom from repeated hospitalizations is an important clinical achievement in this age group following transcatheter heart valve therapyen_US
